Under 13:

There was a good turnout of youngsters in our under 13 squad last Saturday with the season coming to a wind down. Management are extremely happy with how the group of players are progressing during the year and are extremely positive about how the year has went for them.

Under 14:

Our under 14 team were back in Ballinakill last Saturday after their trip to Carlow the week before. They were extremely close to defeating Carlow after giving them a head start and defeated Laois very comprehensively to cap off a good days work. This panel have been playing excellently all year and were extremely unlucky to lose to Carlow but have put in impressive performances at the previous blitzes all year with only 2 defeats arriving. It leads to a positive mood going into the end of season and hopefully, this team will be firing at the start of 2016.

Under 16:

Our under 16 panel were back training on Saturday after an unsuccessful Leinster blitz last weekend. Next week, the group will travel to Mayo for a trip where they will face the two Mayo selections and also take in the All Ireland semi final between their host county and Dublin.

Under 17:

The under 17 panel are working towards next years Leinster Minor Championship and are already picking up the pace in the trials. We had a good turn out last week and a number of the under 16’s will be coming into this panel also. We had four new trialists at the weekend and management are happy with how the sessions are shaping up.

The Club 130 members were all added to a draw for tickets to the All -Ireland semi final this coming weekend and the winner was Mr. Dave Barrett, a dedicated supporter of Wicklow GAA as can be seen from his site Well done Dave.

As always, we are continuously looking for people to get involved so if you feel like you would like to help out the GCA, please do so by clicking here
