Our season began with a number of Strength and Conditioning sessions with Gary Jameson in Ballinakill followed by challenge matches against Wexford and Laois in preparation for the regional Leinster Blitz in Carlow. In this blitz we recorded wins against Waterford and Longford and were narrowly defeated by Carlow.

Following on from the Leinster Blitz we took part in the annual Gerry Reilly Tournament in Meath where we faced Cavan, Meath and Louth. Two heavy defeats against Meath and eventual winners Cavan were followed by a battling defeat to Louth in our last game.

Following on from the Gerry Reilly Tournament we took part in the National Blitz in Louth where we played two very competitive games against Fermanagh and Louth. Our season concluded with the Fr Manning Tournament in Longford where we played Wexford and Laois recording one win and one defeat along the way to reaching the semi-final of the shield competition. Due to the clash of club fixtures in Wicklow we were unable to take part in this semi-final.

Over the year the team played 12 games and were given talks on Nutrition, Sports Psychology and Player Welfare. Strength and Conditioning Sessions were provided for players by Gary Jameson and his team. A number of field based sessions were provided to players by Owen and Paul during the year which covered Technical, Tactical and Team Play areas. Although this was a difficult year with some heavy defeats the players continued to attend and have committed to the panel during the year.

Special thanks to our squad sponsors eFrontiers for their continued ,valued support.

Coaching Officer Owen Doyle and GDA Paul Garrigan took charge of the team for the year
